On 5-6 March there will be a conference on “Policy and impact – Effective policies supporting transnational families” that will be held in Budapest, Hungary.
The main meeting will be a 2-day conference / working group meeting bringing together around 50 TraFaDy members of different working groups drawing conclusions regarding the political outcome of the work having been carried out in the working groups so far. The discussion of effective policies that support transnational families will be the main focus, policy papers around different thematics related to transnational family dynamics will be drafted or finalised. One major topic will be the family reunification.
The meeting will additionally include a PhD training, which is co-organised with IMISCOE Standing Committee on Migrant Transnationalism (MITRA).
Attached to the conference, there will be a Core Group meeting on 4 March.
